China Boqi has rich experience on desulfurization projects. We can provide various modes of services, including design, technology consultation and services, EPC and operation and maintenance. We provide SO2 emissions control and the FDG services to some of the state-owned and leading local enterprises in the power generation industry in the PRC, including five national power groups. According to Frost & Sullivan Statistics, in the terms of cumulative installed capacity as of December 31, 2016, we are the first largest independent flue gas desulfurization EPC projects service provider for coal-fired power plants in the PRC; in terms of cumulative capacity in operation as of December 31,2016, we are the third largest independent flue gas desulfurization concession operation service provider for coal-fired power plants in the PRC and rank seventh among flue gas desulfurization concession operation service providers for coal-fired power plants. Our desulfurization business is conducted through EPC projects and in accordance with concession operation model. We have designed and built multiple projects with significant importance to the industry.
Leveraging our experience accumulated in desulfurization EPC projects and desulfurization operation and concession projects, we have obtained expertise and maintained a team of professional technicians extensively experienced in all aspects of the FGD process from the design, construction and installation and testing of appliances and relevant facilities to equipment procurement and construction. Our flue gas treatment technology has been granted 32 patents (four of them are integrated denitrification and desulfurization technology). We have developed a variety of FGD processes which are suitable for power plants with different operating conditions, including Limestone-gypsum WFGD, Seawater desulfurization, ammonia desulfurization and dry (semi-dry) desulfurization.
Limestone-gypsum WFGD technology is using limestone, lime or lime carbonate as catalyst to remove SO2. Features: Widest application and most mature technology; By-product gypsum is a usable construction material. Most of our installed and contracted desulfurization appliances are utilizing this technology.

By using the alkalinity of seawater to treat flue gas, seawater desulfurization includes flue gas system, absorbing tower system and seawater supplying and recovery system.
Features: Suitable for power plants located at coastal areas with
easy access to seawater;
No absorbent, desulfurization by-product or secondary
pollution.
Ammonia desulfurization is using ammonia to absorb SO2. With 95% desulfurization efficiency, this technology can be used in any types of coal.
Features: Producing by-product ammonium sulfate, which can be
used as a nitrogenous fertilizer;
Suitable for the power plants located in dry areas such
as the northeastern provinces in China.
Dry desulfurization is using powder adsorbent and catalyst to remove SO2. Semi-dry desulfurization is using adsorbent containing calcium oxide and calcium hydroxide to remove SO2.
Features: Occupies limited area, simple system, low investment
and low operating cost, suitable for small to medium
sized power plants;
Dry end-products and convenient for transportation,
recyclable with economic benefits.
