On June 10^th,  Northern Xinjiang Operation and Maintenance Department held the Safety Month  Knowledge Contest. The purpose of this contest was to implement the spirit of  “safe production month”, enrich the staff’s basic safety knowledge, promote the  safe awareness and self protective capability and achieve the “4 no harm”  standards.

The  leaders of this project paid high attention for this contest. There were 3  teams, maintenance, electric heat and operation, took part in the contest and  each team have 3 members. The leader of safety-health-environment department was  invited to be the judge for keeping the justification of this contest.  

The  contest included 3 parts, the required questions, the competition answer  questions and bonus questions. The questions had a wide coverage, involving  safety-health-environment management system, fire protection knowledge, and NOSA  management system. The contest, lasting more than 2 hours, was very tight and  everyone was devoted themselves to it.

   Through this contest, all the staff had  learned from each other. Their safety awareness was greatly promoted. The  “Scientific development and safe development” concept was further advocated.  From now on, the project department will further popularize safety production  rules; strengthen the staff’s safety production awareness and emergency  management to set solid bases for each work.
