On  June 24^th, Kuche O&M project department held the heatstroke  emergency drill. The purpose of this activity is to ensure the safe production  in summer, effectively prevent, control and eliminate heat exhaustion accidents,  guide the rescue measures for heatstroke and promote the rescue  ability.

The  main part of this drill is simulating heatstroke emergency treatment. The  project department organized the staff to learn the Heatstroke Accident Emergency Rescue Plan  and Site Heatstroke Rescue and  Prevention Measures. Longyuan Safety Production Department engineer Mou was  invited to attend this drill.

The  simulated process was: one maintenance staff fell down because of heatstroke  during the routing inspection; other staff found this and called others in the  site to carry the heatstroke one to the ventilated place; they unfasten his  buttons and made a call to electric heating team; the chief commander got this  accident call and immediately started the emergency plan, then reported the  accident to relevant persons.

    Medical aid team came to the site firstly  and took the rescue measures for the heatstroke person. 15 minutes later,  ambulance came to the site and took him to the hospital. This drill promotes the  staff’s rescue consciousness and knowledge. It also pays an active role for the  heatstroke emergency rescue.
