In  the morning of October 28^th, Hejin O&M project department and  Hejin power plant carried out the liquid ammonia leakage accident drill, which  was to promote the emergency preparation and emergency treatment ability, reduce  and avoid the damage from the liquid ammonia leakage, as the same time to  strengthen the whole staff protection consciousness.

 During this drill, it simulated that the  flange cracked between the A liquid ammonia tank outlet to evaporator manual  ball valve, a large number of liquid ammonia leaked out. The chief engineer  received the accident call and instantly started the first level of safe  production accident emergency plan in ammonia area. With the leadership of the  emergency commander, each team carried out the rescue process. After half an  hour, it was successfully finish the ammonia leakage rescue. The site  environmental monitoring team confirmed that the air and wasted water monitoring  water is qualified.

    The successful drill verified that the  project emergency management system is reasonable and effective. It further  promotes the staff’s emergency rescue ability to treat the liquid ammonia  leakage.
